It was such a treat to wake up and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings. the breakfast served on our private porch was a nice touch, allowing us to enjoy the delicious food while taking in the scenery. The location of the lodge, between Stellenbosch and Franschhoek, was also ideal, providing easy access to both towns and their attractions.

The hotel experienced frequent power cuts, known as load shedding, during my stay. This caused inconveniences such as no air conditioning and no water in the evening when I returned from a wedding.
